Ok I have hooked up my xbox to my computer monitor using an HDMI cable. the problem is I cannot hook up my speakers to my xbox now because the HDMI. My previous set-up was a VGA cable for my xbox which had a seperate red and white which i used a y-adapter to plug into my speakers. Is there anything that could make this possible with an HDMI?

This looks the cheapest if it works, I haven't tried it.

I took the way cheaper way out. Instead of buying new pieces, I took a screw driver and popped off that super thick piece that is at the end of the component cable. With that piece off you're able to plug in the hdmi and the component piece that comes with the xbox at the same time. Hope this helps you out because it took me days to figure out how to run my Turtle Beach headsets and get sound from the speakers, headsets, voice, etc..
