VGA to HDMI

    I recently bought a VGA to HDMI cord to go from my computer to my TV. Both ends go in correctly but nothing happens on my TV. Is there something else that I need to get to make this work? Nothing else would work because my computer doesn't have HDMI and neither my computer or TV has DVI. So anyone could help that would be great.

    i realize this is a terrible $$ suggestion but this is the only way to get vga to a HD digital. you actually need to Encode it from Analog to Digital.
