Hello, I just bought Prestigio ION 230 and I'm very satisfied with it.
There is only one problem (probably because i'm new to HD).

I use it with windows media center connected to 40 inch fullhd lcd, but when I play MKV HD video it's very slow. So my question is can it really handle 1080p as it says and what codec, hack etc. should I use to watch mkv from media center. I did manage to see mkv files from within mc, but the playback is slow. I tried DivXPro codec pack and I tried ffdshow tryouts with haali media splitter, but with no luck it's just slow (how to turn on GPU acceleration in codecs in case it isn't turned on by default)

Try Media Player Home Cinema (MPC-HC) and set it up to use the internal DXVA
module. This will provide HW (the graphics chip) acceleration, assuming the HW
    supports it.

What codec does the file use? You can use MediaInfo to examine your file and
    give the info.

One thing you can do also, is to play the file and have Task Manager open. Check to see how much CPU is being used by the media player (process tab).
