can you convert optical out.

    Forgive my noobness, is it possible to convert a optical out to an optical in.

    Optical OUT WHAT to optical IN what?

    If you mean the optical IN port on a receiver or other electronic device, the answer is NO.

    An optical receiver (IN) is a wholly different device from an optical transmitter (OUT).
