alba lcd19880hdf TV

Hi folks my wife has a Alba Lcd 19880hdf TV apparently she let water spill on the remote control and forgot to mention it

So when i was in the room tonight i noticed that when i was changing cvhannels and voulme was taken ages to work i actually thought the remote was goingt in the remote control.

Any way i noticed when i tried to turn the TV off the volume mute signal was coming up on TV and i couldnt turn it off

But i started pressing the buttons on remote beofre i knew it a square box came up saying about installing and to press ok which i tried just to get rid of it and back to the Tv so i unplugged tv left for a while etc but when i turn on tv its still there

Any suggestions folks ?? please
