How big is the difference between a crt and an lcd when it will be primarily used for gaming on an xbox360 and the occasional movie played from my laptop. Im looking to buy a new and somewhat bigger (I currently have a 52cm very old sony flatscreen crt) tv. Im a student and funds are limited so I want to know if the higher cost of an lcd is justified?
Hi, for gaming (and for the movies) the picture is far better on a quality LCD but there are problems with the screen burning when it comes for the games. As you mentioned that the funds are limited i think you're better to stick with what you've got - the 52cm CRT.
