I was looking into getting a cheap 1080p tv.
The Sony kdl40ex400 seemed to have a great pic.
I will be using it to watch movies on my sony bd player
    and just general tv programs.
No matter where I look on the internet I can't find
any info. on the static(native)contrast ratio or the
    dynamic contrast ratio.Any ideas?
I even checked out the owners manual, but nada.
Also this tv only has 60hz.Will that be a problem
when using my bd player for action movies?

contrast ratio means nothing that info is used to sell tvs it sounds impressive
the tv is 60hz you do not need 120 hz most tvs with 120hz create strange effects
my tv has 120 hz and i never use it it does nothing for action movies
