Have connected my Vista PC with Radeon HD2600 Pro Graphics Card using HDMI output. I can get the sound if i play a movie but the only picture I get is that of the Vista desktop without any of my icons. I feel I am nearly there but just cannot get over the final hurdle. Any help much appreciated.
It sounds like your using the setting to just extend your desktop. What is does it just continue your screen onto the next monitor. You either want to run in a clone mode (see the same screen on both) or completely switch from your computer screen to the tv (one is blank). Another option is to drag the program you want to use onto the screen. Just keep draging it to the right (if not try the left but I'm pretty sure it's the right).
