my uncle recently moved back from australia and brought a new plasma back with him that he hadnt long purchased. is it posible to update or change the regions on plasma's from down under?
TVs don't have region settings, per se. The are, however designed for the native TV format for the locale that they were sold into or designed to operate. If you're asking whether or not a TV can be changed from say, PAL to NTSC, I don't think that it's as simple as a software change. there are probably hardware components in play as well (like the tuner).
