Tv is a Toshiba Regza LCD. If anybody knows how to fix this without trashing the tv id appreciate some input? Or what kind of cost id be looking at? Thank you!
Wow that's really something. Give Toshiba a call and find out what the replacement cost is. I doubt very much if a repair will be cost effective, but you never know...
Repair cost would exceed replacement cost unless you bought the TV less than 3 months ago. The panel in my Sony XBR4 was replaced under warranty. The cost of the panel was 25% more than what I paid for the TV with extended warranty.
