d-box nokia no channels

Please could someone help - our box has lost all its channels - I know its possible to have them rebooted or whatever you do but i don't know how to start - can anyone please help. thankyou

 

Have you tried a rescan ,Wot image are you running
Have you lost all channels ,or just free to air channels.........Paul

 

tried a scan before and it did nothing. We have lost everything and when I try and turn to a channel it just says waiting for time. It says sportster when it first starts. then it comes up error and to do a scan at service menu. Its then asking for a pin code.. I am a novice to this so any help would be really appreciated. Thankyou

There are 2 methods to find the pincode on a dbox2

either ftp into var/tuxbox/config and view neutrino.conf, look for parentallock_pincode=####

the #### is the pincode.

If you want you can do it from the dbox
Choose Tuxbox Commander
var ok
tuxbox ok
config ok
scroll down to neutrino.conf ok
then scroll down to the line, it is in alphabetical order.

Thankyou but I have noticed my box says its a d-box DV3 do i still do the same?

 

I have scanned and it says no channels found... what a nightmare!!! what can I do now please

 

Post your scan settings,from top to bottom
Your location and previous service provider
Try the Box direct to the wall without any splitters
No different ,Reflash it with a newer image............Paul

 

Hi there - i seem to be getting a little further but very slowly. Could you tell me what or where to find the key code to change on the keylist. thanks

You don't need to fiddle with key list text anymore.
Just add the rom 7 fix, and it will auto update .............Paul.

 

so sorry to be a pain but tell me if i am going the right way. I have managed to find the keylist and need to put in the up to date key number/new code - i need to find that and alter it then if i;m right once the new code is entered is it just a matter of rebooting it and any ideas how to find the new code

 

i have now gone into edit the keylist and there are codes and 4 dates of when it has been re-done before. I am sorry but what do i do at this point?
