Eurovox Max V 2008 - PEAA display

Hi there,

My Box suddenly stopped powering on so i replace the powerbraod and I have managed to get my box to power on after Jtagging using the unbuffered Jtag. However i am getting a PEAA message and cannot get rid of it. I have read of the somewhere and it stated my box may have got the wrong firmware or a clone. I believe it is not a clone

I used Skymax to erased the box and When i go to write the file, which file is for my Box within tsops folder. I have tried all but all ends up with the same result "PEAA". When i tried to run the firmware update none will detect my box after pressing the BIG download button. I know i have got the correct null cable as it is working on my other box.

Please HELP. My eurovox max receiver has "MAXV" display at the front center if that helps.

try using the clone firmware , that worked for me.

 

Suse103 thanks for the reply. What firmware and where can i download it? i have tried EVMAX_BLUE_011208_CORE_140207_CLONESAFE.zip but still does not work

 

if your box is not being detected , i would suggest jtagging again with another tsop file , start with the 2008 as it may jut be a bad transfer and then you could try both the 2007 or 2006 , once you find a working tsop then you can reflash using the null cable.

 

I have tried jtagging with:

1) Black Max V Full Leicester Flash Dump 10-9-7.bin,
2) 2007(red)tsop.bin,
3) EV_2-tsop.bin and
4) 2006tsop(blue).bin

but still end up with the same PEAA result. I have ran it twice on each .bin files to no vain.

Help can anyone help solve this problem????
