eurovox noob - active virgin line? - info plz

hi all,

i was wondering would i need to have an active virgin internet line to get all the channels on a eurovox, starview, dreambox etc to work?

about 3 years back i cancelled my ntl internet, however i still have the cables running into my house and was wondering could i hook the cable into the box and catch channels eg skysports for free?

i have heard that its possible through some of my mates, any advice much appreciated.

yes once the cable line is still active you can get it to work
