new box delivered today but unable to watch movies, sports, music etc only freeview channels are coming on! even the secret menu does not appear please can someone tell me how i can get these channels on?? my dad got his the other day and worked straight away!!
You need to flash it with Firmware, they are supplied with FTA firmware on, so don't know where your Dad got he's from. You will find all you need in Eamo's FTA Library at the bottom of my post, help files included so download these first and then the latest Firmware and Logo just go into the folder markes Starview 4 USB. I hope you have a USB stick (Pendrive) that is what is needed, and if you click on the link marked Starview and read down the page you might find the tutorial helpful courtesy celtic, but do not use the links they are broken okay.
Again howardref, if you have not put Firmware on your box then there is no way in the world that you will be able to enter the Cas System (Secret Menu) to turn the Keycode on - Have you or have you not - Installed Firmware on your box? - and please try not to post your query in between quotes, it get's a little confusing. Malci, sorry my friend but this is the first time I have been on here, and any other site as it happens, but as I said I'm no techno and don't know the ropes but have tried another install and it works again sorry for the confusion but as they say you've made an old man v. happy no disrespect but I hope I don't need your help in future again thanx for your (and everybody elses') help, bye !!
Pleased for you howardref - no disrespect/critisism intended just advice, if you have a look at your last post in comparison to the previous two it is plain to see, that way you will get a much quicker response as it is much easier on the eye.
