I am missing some of the channels, so I thought that updating it with the latest image will resolve the problem.
Just installing another image will not automatically give you all the channels. You will need to rescan. What area are you in ?
go to service and select service scan. settings should be as below scan for all services --- all services bouquet--------------- leave current provider-------------- cable uk sym 6887 fast scan on netid----------------------42753 frequency---------------------291000 symbol rate-------------------6887 sectons scan----------------------- on save these settings then select a s*y sports channel if ya get nothing do a scan using the new settings
Those settings are for N** Dublin. With a later image you can select and set your area for scan via the blue button.
i beleive i need to do similar thing on my box too as above as i am only getting the 'free' channels after few scans with correct codes. i am in wellingborough, northamptonshire. i would be grateful if you can provide similar info for my area. many thanks in advance.
hi paul thanks for yor help. i am a little lost. under my service scan following are the headings i have and the settings i have used but no result after re scan: scan for services...........all services bouquet.........leave existing cable provider.........cableuk sym6887 fast scan.........on manual scan.........off frequency.........579000 symbol rate........6887 FEC..........1/2 polarization............H apologies if i am being dumb in anyway i am very new to this. thanks for your help.
