Nokia Dbox2 with commando 11 + mtd3

Trying to flash this box and have the ethernet and serial cable connected to a Vista laptop. The serial cable is coverted from usb on the laptop side and connects to the box via serial port. I also have a network cable connected with no configuration. When I tell commander to flash the box it seems as if if is going to but when I power on the Dbox2 nothing happens. Also firewalls and network connections turn off. Lan port enabled with dynamic address mode.

What am I doing wrong here?

If your Lappy has an enternet port thats all you need
Connect a CROSSOVER Cable NOT STRAIGHT
From the box to the pc
If not in kein transfer via FTP its easier
If not IFA 3.1 and above will work with vista no probs .......Paul

I had the same problem trying to flash the Blade Quad image. Don't power off the box by the plug, use the power and up arrow button on the unit itself to reset it before flashing.
