sky + boxes

    can anyone tell me i just had sky+ installed and i am thinking
    of buying a second sky+ box will the same sky card work in both boxes

    the answer is yes and no, if you only have the basic channel package then you can view these channels on any sky box with your card, if you have the sports or movies or both in addition to the basic channels that is where problems arise, as sky have made their cards in such away as to only let you view the basic channels in other boxes but your card will not be able to open the sky movies or sky sports channels(this is to stop a person ordering a second card for their house called multi room for say an extra €20 a month and selling the card to a mate and sharing the sky sub so they can have movies and sport at a much cheaper price)if you dont mind only watching the basic in another room you will be fine.
