im trying to copy a dvd to my hard drive but i keep getting errors when it goes to about 40 or 50% im using any dvd and got a error saying fileio 3 vts_01_1.vob2602637321 393216 ? i have also tryed dvdone v2 and dvd fab. wat could it be? the dvd dose a few marks on but very light ones would that be the problem?

Sound's like a bad pressing, AnyDVD should be able to handle light marking. Try non gel, non flavored toothpaste (no kidding) and a lint free cloth on the mark's, rinse with warm water and let air dry completely. I have heard of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda paste or smooth Peanut Butter being used. I think some Video store's may use Skip Doctor, very reasonable but not worth purchasing for a 1 time deal.
