Copied DVD reading as having no files

I've not seen this before,
Borrowed some DVD's off a friend (copies) went to copy them as they are DVD quality and play well on the DVD player and PC yet...... when I read the disk there are no files! What the hell???
Help?

You opened the source disk in DVD Shrink and it didn't see anything?

i have seen something similar where it has video_ts and audio folders but both appear to be empty.
could be hidden files (think its in folder options view hidden folders)
could be a packed iso in which case something like dvdfab or dvdshrink or any other half decent dvd program will be able too open it.
im curious now.what player did you use to play it???

i have the big screen tv,a ps3 and 5.1 channel surround sound.car still runs smooth and computer still works but its a bit outdated.
