Ok I am sorry I am sure this issue has been answered before but I am lost.

I have DVD Decrypter and Auto GK to transcode and the process works fine if I use IFO mode. So I rip the DVD and then use Auto GK to change the format to MPEG-4 to play on my PS3. Well the process works fine except none of the DVD menus show up. So I did some research and found some info saying that I should use the Read ISO option in DVD Decrypter so it picks up all the menus ect. This seems to work fine but I cant transcode the info. Auto GK cant read ISO or MDS. In doing some me searching I saw and now have DVDShrink but that seems more for burning DVDs which is not really what I am looking for.

I don't really care about special features but I need the menus especially for TV series.

Can anyone help me please? I feel like I have read a ton of info and am not getting anywhere.

Thanks in advance. Also please excuse if I used any terminology wrong I am still pretty ignorant on all this stuff.

You only get the movie when converting to avi format.
There is no provision for integrating the DVD menu features.

AFAIK there is no software that will do this.

There is a something called UltraDivX that allows the creation of a menu (but not the original DVD menu) - the created menu only functions on standalone players that are Ultra certified.

Thank you for the info on this. I guess I misunderstood some of what I read. I thought the VOBs were the menus and I was missing some way to convert them.

Each movie 'Title' can have ten VOB files.

'VTS_01_0.VOB' would be the menu screen (if that particular Title was assigned to VTS_01)
