DVD Shrink wont complete backup

Hi Guys,
Sorry did do a search but I am really struggling to backup a dvd. Shrink wont rip it as it says its
protected so I used dvd decryptor to rip it.
I have tried ripping it as both an ISO image and the other way but I end up with files too big to burn.
I read on the advice here to then run these files through Shrink but everytime I do it encounters and error
and wont complete the backup.
Has anyone had this before or know a clever way out as its sucking my will to live!!!!!!

I used dvd decrypter to rip it. I also tried ripping it using the fab one but I only have the standard version so it wont do anything with it

or you can get very hands on.. and do it the old skool method.. (note.. I took out the howto for making a psl dumpfile after legal threats)

I think that maybe a bit beyond my capability!!!
I have now tried the fixvts but it still doesn't work. I assume i am doing it right by gogin to the correct folder and hitting full dvd button!!!
I can watch the ripped dvd on the laptop but shrink is falling over at the same point everytime.
any more tips greatfully received, I'll delete all the files I Have and try again, but I am sruggling to understand whats going wrong

What's the name of the movie and are you selecting 'Main Movie' only in DVDFab.
