Okay, I have spent the last three weeks trying to find an answer somewhere within these forums to help me with my problem, but I have not "found" anything directly relating to my problem, so I decided to register and create a thread. That said PLEASE forgive me if this has been addressed somewhere and please kindly direct me to the thread, but PLEASE read the thread in its entirety to understand my problem.

My goal is to rip my "Mai-Otome" Anime DVDs to MKVs with dual audio, subtitles, and maintain high-quality. Ironically I stumbled across the following page with a 4 step process that accomplishes this brilliantly. http://cinemageddon.org/doku/doku.php/gu..._using_avidemux

For some reason after completing all the steps, I noticed the timing was a bit off on the finished product, IE the video was going at a higher speed then the audio (Audio sounded/is fine) Thats where I began backtracking steps, leading me to the culprit: Avidemux.

Google and forum searches brought up many possible variables, from VOB issues to Codec pack incompatibilities and even a Haali-splitter issue with one person. I decided to try it on a different computer that had K-lite instead of CCC. This time I saw positive results ^_^ Avidemux acted perfectly normal, audio and video synced perfectly. With the finished product, which turned out beautifully quality and timing wise, I realized I made a stupid mistake and made primary audio track and secondary (Audio2.ac3) both Japanese, so I just said okay, and restarted the process. NOW, Avidemux is slowing down the video, creating a lag.

I said screw it, and tried it on my 3rd computer (doesnt even have codecs prior to installing necessary programs for process) and right off the bat, lag.

I have searched and searched and searched, with no clue. Not even the Avidemux site forums, which I am posting a clone thread on, has anyone expressing this issue. <<Was that grammatically correct?

I don't want to use a conversion program like MakeMKV or anything because I do not get desired results. I am not good at understanding code lines for things like Virtualdub or what not. This is the most practical and efficient method Ive found, I JUST need to find out why Avidemux is not working. PLEASE Help

P.S.
1st computer has Win 7 Pro (64bit), 2nd computer (Laptop) has Win Vista Home Premium (64bit), 3rd computer has Win XP Home. I have tried all available versions of Avidemux on each computer.

Hey, I went ahead and tried that program out. You are right, the program is amazing. MUCH more practical and efficient then most other programs Ive run into. Its very fast and does a remarkable job maintaining the quality. Thank you very much!! I feel kind of bad though, I swore that I had done a fairly thorough job searching for various programs, but they all seemed very restrictive. Anyway, Thank you Very much.
