DVDFab Read Errors

Site update - March 16th 2010

AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

You can now enjoy this new layout at English AfterDawn.com and English Discussion Forums as well! We have also introduced new sections to the site, and re-arranged things a bit.

I've been using DVDFab for a year or so with problems, but now after a XP re-installation I keep getting read errors. I'm using the same DVD burner that works perfectly with Nero, I've reinstalled different versions of DVDFab and have tried lots of DVD's but to no avail. This problem is not due to DVD scratches. I've even tried registry mechanic. Surely this must be a driver or software issue. I put the disc in the tray then activate DVDFab, it then reads the disc then when I press next to download to HD I get the error messages Abort Try again etc. If I persevere and burn the copied files to disc it's keeps jumping. Please advise.
