okay well yeah the subject says it all but just to be sure i want to add srt subs to avis and burn those avis (multiple) onto a dvd to play on a dvd player. thanks.

Free version, use DVD Flick. It works great. You can create a menu for each video; the subtitles will be switchable, on/off.
