How to remove 1 audio track of 2 from DVD

#1 03 Dec 2011 @ 22:36
I went skydiving today, and a photographer flew alongside and made a DVD of the flight. The DVD contains IFO, BUP, and VOB files.

My problem: A loud music track plays in the background, and when I am interviewed you can barely hear me talking. How might I remove the main audio track which pervades the entire DVD..or at least lower its volume in the places where I'm speaking?

I'm using Windows 7.

Thanks1

I would post this in the Audio forum on the VideoHelp site.

If you could upload a few seconds of the video that they could check out, it would be helpful.
If the music was is a separate channel from your voice it may be relatively simple:if the music has been mixed with your voice it may be very difficult.
