I need to rip dvds into avi or quicktime files for broadcast quality editing.

Hi! I have a load of my own work on dvds that I need to use to make a showreel. I'm editing on Adobe premier on PC. I have tried loads of software to rip the dvds and they come out in the wrong aspect ratio, out of sync, no audio, no picture, unable to import into adobe etc etc. The closest I've come is using 'Handbrake'. For some reason making an avi file doesn't import into Premier (weird in itself) but the mp4 file does although it isn't good enough quality. I'm trying different codex but they either throw up a different problem (like being out of sync) or the files don't import. Any advice greatly appreciated....

Have a look at Auto GK or Alltoavi: http://alltoavi.sourceforge.net/
