I/O Error with DVD Decrypter

I'm pretty sure this post is in the right spot, if not plz move it.


so...I'm using a freeware called DVD Decrypter and for only certain DVDs it pops up a message:

I don't understand the error message at all and the only thing I could think of is my drive isn't working. But I can throw another DVD in and it'll work just fine.

Does anyone know of an updated version of this freeware (I'm using 3.5.4.0) or a better freeware?

Hi m0b5t4

I would suggest that DVD Decrypter is too old to handle the newer DVD encryptions and that is causing the problem. DVDfab Decrypter is free and should fix the problem for you. http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm
