As the title states, is there a DVD Ripping/Converting software
that supports Quad cores?
I have a Phenom II 940 BE overclocked to 3.6GHz on my hands,
and I want to be able to fully utilize it.
Here are some software that I found via good ol' google, which
seems to support dual-cores; nothing mentioned about Quads though.
-AVS Video Converter
-DVDfab Suite
-DVD-Cloner Platinum
-Aiseesoft DVD Converter Suite
Good question. I am curious about this as well. I don't personally have a quad core, but a friend of mine does. My first question to him after he got it set up was, "How fast does DVD converting go?", and he was disappointed in the answer he had to give me of, "Not that much faster, dude.."
If there is a program out there that better handles quad cores, I'm sure he'd love to have it, too...
ConvertXtoDVD (version 2, can't comment on version 3) uses multiple cores, not sure if it's officially coded for multiple cores.
DVD Rebuilder uses multiple cores ~
HC Encoder (free) is coded for multiple cores, it can be used with DVD Rebuilder and other programs.
DVD Flick also uses multiple cores as does AutoGK
