ripping dvds to harddrive in 1 file with 5.1 sound then streaming to PS3

As the title explains I would like to be able to rip my dvds and stream them to my PS3.

At the moment I rip using DVDfab but end up with about 4 VTS files.
These files will stream to the PS3 with Dolby sound, however I can only play 1 file at a time.

I have tried the DVDFab option of DVD to PS3 but that just gives me an MPEG-4 file with no dolby and poor quality.

Is there a program that can rip to 1 file with Dolby straight to harddrive?

Any help would be appreciated.
I dont mind paying for a program if it makes it easier.

Are you talking about VOBs?

Thanks MysticE, I tried VOB2MPEG and it worked a treat!

I also tried dvd shrink and that works as well

Now I can stream all my DVDs with good quality and surround sound.

Vob2mpg was working great, but now it is very slow.

The extraction rate is only 1.44MB/s, it used to be 11.

Is there anything I can do to get the speed back up?

I got the speed back up by just not using the computer while it is extracting.

However, should you always use DVDfab first to rid the dvd and then run through VOB2MPG?

I have tried using VOB2MPG to rip straight from the dvd but sometimes I only get half way through and then it will tell me it is done when it has not.

Is there a program that can rip straight from the dvd into 1 MPEG file?

Can you play ISO? If you can, then rip with DVDFab into an ISO instead of a DVD folder.

Tried ripping to ISO however the file does not show up on the PS3.
Can you stream ISO's to the PS3?

Im using Tversity to stream my media.

Is VOB2MPG the best way to rip your movies to harddrive?
