hi, just built my new system and ive got a problem with one of my dvd drives,
the drive is brand new its a LG CH08LS10 Super Multi Blu-Ray Reader & DVD±RW with LightScribe SATA.
i cant find it on my system, dosent show in my computer or device manager.
the drive came with a disc which i assume has drivers on it but when i put the disc in it comes up with the splash screen and says "super multi blue installer" click on install and i get install.exe has stopped working. ive tried going into the cd folder had running it in compatibility mode but that dosent help.
ive done a search on google for drivers but i cant find anything for this drive even on the LG site.
on the top of the drive it says model number CH08LS10

ok ive managed to get the cd to work by copying it to the pc and running it from there, guess there is a problem with the disc.
the message i get when its installing now is
"this software can only be installed with a LG(HLDS) device. this setup will abort"

so i guess for what ever reason windows 7 isnt recognising the drive
