16gb thumb drive full

    i have been trying to get a 10gb file onto a 16gb thumb drive and it says it is already full. i have deleted all the files and even reformatted the thumb drive and still get the device already full message. does this make sense to anyone??

    yes you can only have files that or 4gb on fat 32

    change the format to ntfs or split the file into 3 parts so under 4gig limitations of fat32.
