OK,, this is an old hp pavilion xt973

When i hook up 1 DVD drive (IDE) the bios sees it, But when i hook up both at the same time the bios wont see neither of them...

    any clues?
1 drive is brand new... i have 4 dvd drives., all do the same thing.. so this tells me that the drives are good...

those are good.. master and slave.. ive even tried all different kinds of combonations... i think its the motherboard.. only the master will show up in the bios.. if i hook up just the secondary,, it dont even show up... anyways.. dont really need more than 1 burner anyways..

    Thanks tho
