802.11b/g Wireless LAN RTL8187SE PCIE Vista 64bit HELP!

I just did a reformat on my Gateway M-1634u Notebook using the Operating software that was included with the notebook, but the WLan driver was not installed. I tried gateway.com for the driver, but they have the wrong one. Here is a bit more info on my computer:

moved to correct forum. which driver did you try, realtek, marvel or both?

they are using the rtl8187,the notebook called for a rtl8187se,the difference being,one is for a usb drive,the other is for an internal.

I tried those already when installing it says "Sorry ! We do not support this operating system!!" Any others. I tried those 3 days ago after the one from gateway.com failed.

had a similar problem with gateway laptop & vista, the drivers from gateway, intel & ms for videcard would cause it to go into sleepmode during boot process. told customer to hold power button for 2 seconds & it will continue loading into windows. what does it show in device manager like an exclamation mark or what?

do update the driver & direct it to the downloaded files you got from realtek.

This one worked finaly took 4 days to find. Gateway has awefull service. Last time I buy a notebook from them.
