I could use a little help please. Have an evga 8800gtx, lifetime support. There isn't any game I can't play with it, love it, had it for years without a hitch. However, last month it crashed. Evga sent me a replacement (refurb, which I understand). Took 3 weeks, again understandable. Got it Monday, and it crashed Friday. Artifacts on POST. Not me, changed power supplies (both 650w), still same. Put in a 6800gt and works fine, so not the MB. They are RMAing it again, however I don't wanna keep doing this. Is there a cheap equivalent (SLI is fine) to replace the card on EBAY or something, say like 2 8800 gts in sli? Or maybe a used ATI equal to the 8800 gtx? Also, I game on a 24" monitor @ 1920x1200.
    Thanks

is the voltage set manually on the pci-e bus? have you overclocked the card? is there proper airflow in the case?
if you still think you'll need a new card, ive always been partial to the ati radeon 4890, they are basically better than the 4870's which in crossfire mode are still pretty formidable. they are directx 10 or 10.1 compatible and come in 1GB config.
