Hi, I'm sorry to pose a question here, but (if it doesn't trouble you all), I would love some help:

Lately, my laptop (HP Pavilion dv9000) has been running hotter than usual. Granted, I don't know much about just how hot a GPU (Nvidia GeForce 7600go) sohuld run. At present, it's hitting 63 Degrees Celcius.

Speedfan (What I'm using to measure the temp) has a little fire symbol next to it, adn the computer gets warm under my palm. I'm sorry, I can't help but worry. This isn't my only machine, but this IS my only laptop.

So, basically, all I'm asking is:

    Am I running too hot?

If so, what should I be running at?

Should I take it in to a shop?

What can they do for it?

Once again, I'm sorry for troubling you guys.

    Thanks so much,

    joemare.

Thanks for replying guys. I don't know, I just get a bit worried about my laptop, it is running warm. I recently bought the Targus ChillMat for Laptops. It hasn't done much, but I suppose it couldn't hurt. And my fan was recently cleaned out (about 2 weeks ago now).

    Thanks for the help.
