So I have an acer laptop with a cracked screen. Ordered a new screen. Today I attempted to take out the screen. I did successfully take out the screen without breaking any wires or anything else, well as far I can see anyway. But the problem is, now it won't charge or turn on. I even put the screen back in and its still doing the same thing. What could have I done? What could be wrong? If you could put in your input asap I would be much appreciative.

There's only two connections to the screen. The ribbon cable and the backlight power. Try to power the laptop with the LCD unplugged and see if you get LED activity. Check for loose hardware or pinched wires between brackets.

Make sure the ribbon cable is plugged all the way in, and make sure to use the cable locking feature (either a pivoting plastic piece that locks down the cable, or a plastic piece that slides in and out to secure the cable)
