I'm looking to buy a new PC. The PC is for home email, watching movies (from DVD), Skpying with webcam, and writing documents. No game-playing or multimedia stuff (no DVD writer needed). Are the following specs enough?

    AMD Athlon x2 (250?)
    320 GB
    1 GB,
    DDR2
    on-board graphics card

That should be enough for what you want to do. Other than watching DVDs, you could do all those things with a cell phone. Just don't pay too much; that is clearly a very old desktop, and it isn't worth much of anything.
