    my computer crash so i recovery it i used windows xp home edition sp2 when i reboot my ethenet card or sound is not working i tried to update the drive but it want let me update the drive it keep saying connect to internet what should i do can anyone help me

    motherboard model number is E210882
    the s/n #3082w81 say it is a dim 1100 on the box it say its a dim 2400
    model number on the computer is DMC

    can u upgrade a pen2 from win98 to win xp

    You could do the update but it would not do any good. Better to upgrade to windows 2000 if you want a NT-based OS.

    will be slow but should be able to load xp tho depends on cpu cache.

    i had computer crash i put sp3 on it its a dell 1100 win xp but when i turn it on it keep restarting
