I was just browsing the internet when all of a sudden AVG asks for Adobe Reader to have access to internet so I allow it, after that the computer restarts automatically, asks me if I want to go into Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking or Command Prompt or last windows setting or whatever it was. I tried Safe Mode, Safe mode/ networking, and last known windows setting all results in the computer restarting over and over...Just before the computer restarts though sometimes I can see a blue screen with words, but shortly after it appears the computer restarts so i can't read it.

I've been wanting to reformat it for a while now, but was trying to find a external HDD to back up my computer before I reformatted it.

Does anyone know what's going on here and how I can fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

press f8 so can get menu that has safe mode & others on it. on that list is 1 that says disable restart on error, select that. let it restart then you will be able to see error message that is causing the problem.
