Well I have a couple of problems and I thought I would post them in 1 thread rather in multiple threads. Well my first problem is that when I go into "Computer Management" and click on "Disk Management" It don't show any of my disk drives. Not my C: drive or anything. So what do you guys might thing the cause can be. Now my second problem is my pc won't read any of my usb drives. I just bought a new 4gb usb drive and it will read it but it shows it as a cd-rom drive and it won't let me delete what came on it and it won't let me put anything on it. Can Someone help me out.
Sounds like malware, have you ran any dodgy registry cleaners or the like, try downloading and running malwarebytes. Or try a system restore to a previous known good working date.
yeah you definitely have something strange going on with your system. do you have anti virus? download AVG Free and scan for viruses. then download AdAware and scan for adware/spyware/malware
Faulty hdd or connected USB device can also cause comp manage & my computer to not show drives, including defrag window, another issue i've foud with some usb devices is they may not be using a USB std,so the icon of a device may show in system tray but device never gets installed etc, remove the USB devices & see if things clear up,if so there's the problem
