   I bought my pc about 2 years back. Initially everything was ok, but over the past 6 months my computer volume has been steadily on the decline, so much so that it's hardly audible now. I have kept the speaker volume at max and found other things all in order. Please suggest me some suitable way to correct the problem.

   try another set of speakers or headphones to see if problem still exists. the speaker volume at max, is that in the taskbar or the speakers themselves?
