Ok i hope this is the right place to post this.

Ok i have an old intel dual core and a Intel Quad core pc, both computers i would hook up to my monitor or tv with a vga cable. Then all of a sudden i couldent get a signal from either computers to the monitor or tv.

I was buying a new computer anyway so borrowed a friends laptop until it arrived. I get a signal on the tv and monitor fine from the laptop?

New computer arrived and im getting the same problem, no signal? I bought a new vga cable just incase but no difference?

Anyone know wht the problem could be?Thanks.

Would buying a video/graphics card and using that as the vga help?

2 different tower computers can't have both videocards go bad at same time. do you have a kvm switch box between towers & monitor?
