I have a ATI Radeon HD3650 256MB video card with one DVI, one HDMI and one displayport1. I'm currently using the DVI for my LCD monitor with a VGA adapter. I want to be able to connect to the old CRT TV using RCA cables or S-video through the HDMI or something.

What's the cheapest way to do this? or is there even a method to do it without getting a LCD tv or changing my video card?

If your LCD monitor has a DVI or HDMI input, then it can be done cheaply. Otherwise it would probably be cheapest to just change the video card rather than getting the expensive converter box. This is because HDMI has no analogue signals in it (the DVI port has both types of signals).

Okay, so like...the DVI has both digital and analog signals? ... then how could I hook up the DVI onto the old crt "boob tube" tv?

(If i were to get a new LCD screen that has the capability of plugging in the HDMI onto it, could my tv then be a dual monitor? - i mostly just want to play movies and still be able to use the computer)
