Hi There Everyone. Yesterday I had a lucky turn of events and got my hands on an Inspiron 6000 from a friend as he recently bought a new laptop. The only problem is that I cant connect to google or any other websites and none of my anti virus programs can connect to it either. I am both hard-lined in and am using the built in wireless. After many hours of deleting and cleaning the laptop of viruses and malware/spyware, i have a hijackthis log that i will post in this thread. Both wireless and hard lines have great connection and both are registering as connected to the router, only problem they cant reach the internet itself. So please you assistance is needed greatly.

I ran it and it did nothing, i still cant connect to the internet. i will try to restart my cpu and see if that has done anything,

after the restart, it says it has limited or no connectivity and when i try to repair it, it says it is unable to renew the ip address.
