I am in desperate need of help here and I am completely out of ideas to try. I plug an HDMI cable into the HDMI port on my laptop and video comes up no problem. I do not, however have any sound to my TV. When clicking the sounds and then Playback devices I am presented with this: As you can see there is no option for HDMI Output so what can I do? Thanks in advance for any help.
Well, here's the weird thing right. The HDMI output shows up until an HDMI cable is plugged in. It then disappears yet the audio is still not pushed to the tv?
Another weird thing is....that option is listed under my device manager but since taking that screen shot that option hasn't shown up again on my sounds menu.
