dual monitor issue

    i have a gateway fpd2485w and asus vh242h...the asus is my 2nd monitor...when i am watching something via vlc, when i go fullscreen it goes back to the 1st screen and when streaming netflix in the firefox browswer, while in full screen mode, everything is find til i do something on 1st screen and full screen goes away on 2nd screen, anybody know how to fix these issues?

    ..i have a 7600gs video card.
