I cant connect my desktop to this printer, via wireless.. I have a router and a cable modem. My desktop is hooked up to my network via a Ethernet cable. Does my desktop have to be truly wireless, for my printer to detect it? I just thought since i was connected to my network,it will still detect it. Thanks in advance.

Mine desktop connects to my Artisan 810 via wireless, through my Linksys wireless router, as does my wife's laptop, upstairs.
My desktop is connected to the network via a CAT5 cable, but that is not a factor. The router rules.
