my grandparents live about 300 feet from my aunt and uncle. they live on the same property and so my grandparents wondered if they could hook up to my aunt and uncles wifi. now i know you can extenge the wifi signal go far.

What would i have to get to be able to extend the range that far. i have a wireless card for my grandparents desktop.

i have been looking at something called ubiquiti bullet2 but not sure if thats what i should get.

At such short ranges, a set of carefully alligned pringles antennas might be all you need. If you have some old directv satelite dishes (the round ones are best I think), you can build a pair of quad-quad antennas, mount one to each dish, and have solid connections from much longer than 300 feet. It even works with the dish only on one end...but not as well. I was doing this myself for a while...until I knocked over the antenna & broke it.
