hey guys, I have a Western Digital External 320GB Passport Studio II the one that has firewire and Usb. But when I used the firewire cable the external hard drive does not turn on but when i use the usb cable it does. Can someone please give me a solution to fix this problem.
did you download the latest driver for the firewire port for your computer? WD should have that or go to the website for your motherboard to see if they have a new or newer driver and download that. The WD install disk should of had a compatible driver on it, but better to check the site for the motherboard.
