I recently had my cpu crash and had a friend of a friend restore it...when i got it back it worked fine but i have 3 external hard drives with all of my files (2 new mybooks and 1 older maxtor)
when i tried to plug in the External HD...
the 2 new ones worked fine but the older one came up with this error(malfuntion usb device not recognized) when i tried to plug it in. this device has worked in the past and I was wonderering what i have to do to get it working again?
